How it works
The Chair Acupressure massage is perfect to perform in an office or any other public environment, as it is performed over the top of the clothes without oil.
It reduces aches, pains and tension and is incredibly relaxing, helping to relieve knots, tightness and soreness.
The sequence in Chair Massage works directly on stress relief points by using massage, stretches, joint mobilisations and deep but gentle finger and thumb pressures using over 100 acupressure points.
Simply sit facing forward in the massage chair, comfortably resting your legs, arms, chest and head on thickly padded rests.
I apply pressure to acupressure points and use Swedish massage techniques to your head, neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
Ideal for both the office or your home, chair acupressure massage helps to ease pain, relieve stress and leave you feeling relaxed and refreshed.

A little more about Chair Acupressure Massage
The treatment combines the art of Japanese massage with western massage, performing bodywork and somatic techniques combining shiatsu, anma and Swedish massage.
It is based on the traditional Japanese acupressure technique called anma, Japanese for ‘press and rub’, which stimulates the acupressure points in the head, neck, shoulders, arms, hands and back.
Chair massage as we know it today was created and popularised by David Palmer in the 1980's.
Whilst working for Apple Computers in Silicone Valley, California he noticed clients he worked with suffered tension and pain in the neck, shoulders and back from sitting at desks and working on computers all day, hence why this type of massage has become so popular in office environments.
